This is a page-turning thriller that deals with the present crime situation in South Africa – the scourge of drugs and corruption. Dumile Jojo, a private detective, vows that he will bring some escaped prisoners back to jail.

He encounters several obstacles on his way to catching the criminals – risking almost getting himself and his pregnant fiancé killed. The prisoners are captured and sent back – the twist is the involvement of the other police officers who are paid by a syndicate to stage the prison break.

The writer has moved beyond the familiar adage “crime does not pay” to the more popular “Fighting Crime in South Africa is here! Feel it!” Professor SE Saule
