Celebrating our heritage

 

On September 24th, Heritage Day, South Africans celebrate our diverse heritage. Maskew Miller Longman is committed to promoting our heritage, for example through:

  • Publishing textbooks, readers and literature in all South Africa's official languages
  • Publishing up-to-date books on the history of South Africa
  • Creating opportunities for writers in all our languages to be published each year through the annual Maskew Miller Longman Literature Awards.  
  • Publishing books in a number of San languages - Breakthrough to Literacy is available in Nama, Khwedam and !Xun.

Books on the history of South Africa include:
